Polygon Network

The polygon network is where BlinkPlanet will process NFT minting and where wallet transfers will take place.

The Polygon Network is a layer-2 over the Ethereum blockchain that batches transactions before adding them to layer 1. This reduces gas fees and allows the system to process transactions far quicker than the base layer (which is actually quite slow at 14 transactions/second).

The reason for the importance of wallet transfers being on the Polygon network is simple. Wallets not compatible with Polygon can't support the NFTs minted by BlinkPlanet.

For more information about the and how it works, you can see the website.
