How to Participate in a Drop

As Drops are released in phases, participation is dependent on the specific phase and whether you have been invited to join that phase. You can participate in a Drop in two different ways.
By finding a promoted drop from the Drops menu in the top navigation
By Invitation - either by email or in-app messaging
You can find all of the drops, past, current (live), and upcoming, from the Drops menu in the top navigation bar.
In the drops menu, Drops are separated into tabs for Live, Upcoming and Past.
In the live tab, you will see all of the Drops currently underway. They appear in order of when they are due to expire.
Each listed drop will show
When the Drop is scheduled to end
How many Digital Assets are left
The Price

In the Upcoming tab, you will see a list of Drops that have yet to begin but that you may be interested in.
When you click on the drop, you will go to the Drops Details Page, where you will find more information.
Your ability to purchase from a Drop will depend on the current or upcoming phase and whether you are whitelisted for the Private Phase
The header section will give you essential information about:
The date the current/upcoming phase begins and ends
The name of the Series
How many digital assets have been allocated to this phase
The Price during the current phase and the public (non-promotional) price after the drop
Under the header, you will see a small selection of possible digital assets in the Series and two boxes that provide important information about the current phase, remaining assets, number of asset purchases allowed, and the current price.
The highlighted box will show the current phase only if you are whitelisted for the current phase.
If you are not whitelisted for the current phase, you will see a box indicating the next phase to which you have access.
The Private Phase is in progress in the image below, and you are whitelisted for this phase. From here, you can purchase your digital assets from the drop.
You will not see details of a drop phase which you cannot access.
If you are not invited to the current phase, you will see details of the next phase open to you.
For example, you may see the Open Drop Sale
Or you may not have access until the Public Phase.
You cannot purchase from these phases until they are active.
When you are invited to a Private Phase, you will receive an in-app message or email inviting you to the Drop. As long as you are logged into your BlinkPlanet account, you will have access to all Drops for which you are whitelisted.
Only users who are preregistered on BlinkPlanet and whitelisted by the artist will be invited to the Private Phase.
The Private Phase will hold the most significant savings on digital asset prices. In most cases, users will have a limit on the number of assets they can purchase in this phase. You may be able to buy additional assets in later stages.
This will take you to the Drop details page, where you can purchase your digital assets from the Drop.
Private Phase Staged Release
Not all the assets allocated to the Private Phase will be released simultaneously.
The digital assets in the Private Phase are released in 'waves'. This means that the total allocation of digital assets is released in stages throughout the private phase over several days or weeks.
The next wave will be published in the Drop details to ensure that no one misses out on each wave. So, if there aren't any left in the current wave, you can check when the next one will be released.
This is an example of how the waves will display with a countdown to the next wave release.
The Open Drop Sale is an opportunity for non-whitelisted collectors to join the promotional section of the Drop. Everyone is welcome in the Open Drop Sale, but it will only occur if assets remain after the Private Phase.
If no assets remain for the Open Drop Sale, the next available phase will be the Public Phase start date.
The Public Sale is open to everyone. BlinkPlanet Studios will promote the upcoming public phases of Drops in the drop section of the website.
When the Drop finishes, any remaining digital assets not purchased will be available for everyone to buy at the full (non-promotional) price.
